1st High King Cocktail Cup at the SEPP from 13.-15.06.2019

With the first High King Cocktail Cup, Hotel SEPP launches a series of extraordinary competitions under the motto "The exSEPPtional Competition". The kick-off event from June 13 to 15, 2019, will focus on the high art of cocktail mixing. Around 20 bartenders will compete against each other in their skills.

The competition is organized and carried out by the Austrian Bartender Union, by bartender Stefan Egger in cooperation with the company Top Spirit Austria, the Grünegg Alm- und Edelbrennerei and the Eder Collection.

The cocktail creations will be judged by a renowned jury. Among the jury members are

Harald Salzmann
, bar manager of the Restaurant & Bar "Völlerei" in Saalfelden, who conjures up true works of art from simple cocktails. The cocktail artist learned his craft in the most renowned bars from Spain to Austria and Shanghai. Harry is one of the few bar masters in Austria and left the famous "Nest" in China with the award "Bar of the Year".

The participants have to create a fancy drink based on Highking Gin from the noble distillery Grünegg. In total, each participant has to present four different cocktail creations to the jury. The competition will start on May 14, 2019, punctually at 2:00 p.m. on the roof terrace of the Alpine Boutique Hotel SEPP.

The award ceremony will take place in the evening at the TOM Almhütte in cooperation with Top Spirits. The after show party sponsored by Russian Standard is then later at the SEPP attic.

The public is welcome at the first High King Cocktail Cup at SEPP. So anyone who wants to watch the cocktail mixers at their art, is welcome.
