At the foot of the impressive Hochkönig massif, one hiking trail is more beautiful than the next, from leisurely to challenging. There are fantastic bike paths as well as cool bike trails. If you want to rest your calves a bit, just follow the trend of e-mountain biking. Families spend valuable time together at the adventure hill "Prinzenberg Natrun" with great playgrounds, animals to pet and cuddle, as well as the forest slide park and the forest ropes course with fun guaranteed. Alpine golf courses invite you to play a few holes in front of a fantastic mountain backdrop. And if you want to take a look at the beautiful landscape from above, fly through the skies with the Eder paraglider.

On the Trail of the Herbs

The herbal pastures of the Hochkönig region are unique in all of Austria. This is due not least to the cornucopia of nature, which comes up with lush herbal treasures. Thus 16 alpine pastures have specialized in herbs. On herb walks, you can learn all there is to know about these precious plants. In exciting herb workshops, you can learn to use the herbs to make delicious dishes and aromatic teas, healing ointments and delicious spirits. And who hikes diligently the herb pastures and completes its herb passport, receives apart from a beautiful experience also still another gift!
