Not only since Corona have high standards of cleanliness and hygiene been important components of our everyday hotel life. But special times naturally require special measures. We have adapted to this in order to give our guests the highest possible security and a good holiday feeling.

We want our guests to relax and feel good all around. This includes the good and safe feeling of being able to move around carefree in all hotel areas. Hygiene in the rooms and public areas has therefore been further optimised to a high level throughout the hotel in consultation with hygiene experts. All hotel staff, suppliers and partners are prepared for maximum possible standards of cleanliness. And, of course, we are constantly adapting our hygiene measures to the latest official requirements.

So that you feel completely comfortable and safe on your next holiday with us, here is an overview of the current measures:

Depending on their country of origin, non-Austrian hotel guests require an entry registration, the so-called Pre Travel Clearance - Link: https://entry.ptc.gv.at/

The official entry rules apply for all guests at our restaurants and hotels: Please present written or digital proof at check-in, in addition to an identity document, whether you have been tested (validity: PCR test max. 72 hours, antigen test max. 48 hours, controlled self-test max. 24 hours), vaccinated (valid at the earliest 22 days after the first vaccination) or recovered (within the last 6 months). Guests who do not bring proof can do a controlled self-test directly on site.

Hotel guests must take a Corona test every 2 days. Self-tests are available free of charge at reception and at the Tourist Office. Free Corona tests can be done in Maria Alm at the "Haus der Begegnung" every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3pm to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 11am. Registration and appointment at www.salzburg-testet.at . Tests are possible at any time at the pharmacy in Maria Alm and at the Congress Center Saalfelden. Restaurant guests require mandatory registration for contact tracking from 15 minutes of stay. Link / QR Code is available on site.

Distance rule in the restaurant: One metre distance between people at other tables.

Food and drinks may only be consumed while seated at the serving table.

A maximum of 6 persons are allowed in the pool and in the Relax Lounges of the Wellness Area, and 2 persons in each of the two saunas at the Roof Top.

Please apply following rules in all public hotel areas:

Distance: Keep a distance of 1 metre from other people in the waiting area at the reception, at the buffet, in the restaurant, etc., if necessary take into account distance markings on the floor.

Hygiene: No shaking hands and no "kissy kissy". Wash hands regularly (30 sec) and disinfect - disinfectants are available in guest rooms and all public hotel areas. Do not touch your face. Observe coughing and sneezing etiquette (crook of the arm or handkerchief). If symptoms occur before arrival, please stay at home. If symptoms occur on site, stay in room, inform hotel staff and call Corona hotline 1450 if necessary.

Breathing safety: There is no longer an official obligation to wear a mask in the hotel and restaurant. Those who wish to protect themselves and others can, of course, still wear a mask voluntarily.

Recommendations for even more safety:

- Contactless payment by card.

- Use the stairs instead of the lift.

- Use the lift only with people from your own household.

- Use of your own toilet in the hotel room instead of the public hotel toilets.

Additional security measures of the hotel:

Possibility of contactless check-in: Two days before arrival, all guests receive an e-mail with a link to the digital registration form, which can be filled in and returned in advance to shorten the check-in process. Upon arrival, the guest simply collects the freshly disinfected room card from reception.

All rooms, contact-intensive surfaces such as door handles, handrails, lift buttons, tables and seats, frequently touched objects such as menus, pens, etc., as well as facilities with a high contact frequency are cleaned and disinfected several times a day.

Our hotels have been awarded the Hagleitner Disinfection Certificate 2021, which means that our establishments clean and disinfect with tested and certified products.

Our employees undergo regular corona tests.

Also good to know:

Space enough: At the SEPP loft, we naturally ensure that the specified distances are adhered to. SEPP guests can also enjoy their meals at the EDER or at the TOM Almhütte. In the EDER, we can easily meet the required minimum distances in the restaurants. Thanks to the many parlours and lounges, all our guests will be able to enjoy their usual cosy table atmosphere without any restrictions.

Room Service XL: We are expanding our room service offers and will be happy to pamper you with culinary delights in your room. All menus can be accessed online on your mobile phone or tablet using a QR code.

Super breakfast: The SEPP Brunch is served from the Live Cooking Station. Of course, we place special emphasis on distance and hygiene. We are also happy to serve breakfast on the terrace, in your own room or in the pool as an exSEPPtional floating breakfast. Breakfast on the alpine hut? Also possible! Get in the gondola and off you go!

Picobello: Our extraordinary disinfection bottles are available for you in the rooms free of charge. The Eau de Desinfection is also available on the tables and in the public areas. By the way: The stylish disinfection line was created in cooperation with the regional noble distillery Grünegg from Dienten. The various fragrances in stylish bottles can also be purchased at reception, in the Maria & Josef village shop and in the online shop.

Feel-good factor: All our pool and wellness facilities are open for you. We kindly ask you to consider the limitation of the number of persons.

Togetherness: For the protection of our guests, partners, suppliers and the team, official health tests of the staff are carried out on an ongoing basis. All surfaces and touch points are cleaned and disinfected several times a day for best hygiene protection.
