Our family always set great store by togetherness. Oma Franzi, for instance, made sure that everyone ate together at lunchtime. It‘s a shame that these traditional eating patterns are partially lost these days. For me, spending time with my children was always the most precious thing of all, and it has remained so to this day. My goal was to give them a warm, loving home where they could feel truly safe, and I hope that my children will pass this on to their own families. My children‘s education has always been a priority, and I am really happy that the three older ones have decided to stay in the hospitality sector.

This is also one of the reasons why we added a hotel to the existing restaurant. My son Sepp has a knack for seeing the bigger picture and really inspired me. We work tirelessly to offer our guests a welcoming atmosphere where they can feel truly at home.

For me, seeing life continue is a source of true happiness, and nothing compares to the joy of welcoming the fourth generation – Seppi junior – to the fold. I am grateful for this and hope that God will continue to bless our family. With the “tom Almhütte“, Thomas has realised a lifelong ambition, and as his mother, I am delighted for him. Theresia is our right-hand woman and spearheads our reception team with skill and charisma. Fabian and Carola, my two youngest ones, are working towards their high school graduation, and I wish them every success and joy for their life after school. Andy, my life partner, is a man for (almost) all seasons, and supports me and my five children in everything that life throws at us. We are a close-knit family, and this helps us to meet any challenge with equanimity and confidence. After all, there is a much higher chance of success if you enjoy what you do!

For the future, I would like to see my family continue to thrive and a few more grandchildren being born. Children are our future, and I am very aware of that.
